The bed and sofa were comfortable. The room was spacious. I found the kitchen well supplied with a good stock of breakfast ingredients. The regular bus services into the city centre were convenient with a bus stop about 200 yards away.
The area appears a bit run down and has predominantly HMOs. I encountered what was to be open drug dealing on the main commercial street.

The kitchen had generous supplies of tea, coffee, and milk. Breakfast supplies were also readily available. This allowed guests to easily prepare their own meals.

clean room fresh room vintage statues cold room darkness for shaving shoes removal
the room was very clean and fresh i appreciated all the vintage statues around the house i heard no noise in the house from neighbours etc it was very peaceful
the room was cold it was too dark to shave i did not like having to remove shoes to go up and down stairs

Simon was a helpful host. My room featured a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. I used the guest kitchen, stocked with eggs, bread, milk, and coffee. The pool table provided entertainment.

clean room vintage statues peaceful atmosphere
the room was very clean and fresh. i enjoyed the vintage statues around the house. it felt peaceful because i could not hear any noise from neighbours.
the shower seemed more about style than providing a good wash. it was too dark to shave properly. i also found it odd that i had to remove my shoes to use the stairs.

cold room poor pressure
The host was helpful enough I suppose.
The room was too cold I had to ask for extra blankets It was also quite dark making it hard to see properly The shower looked nice but the water pressure was poor it really was style over substance.
