Comfortable and Convenient Stay

comfortable bedspacious roomstocked kitchenregular bus services
The bed and sofa were comfortable. The room was spacious. I found the kitchen well supplied with a good stock of breakfast ingredients. The regular bus services into the city centre were convenient with a bus stop about 200 yards away.
The area appears a bit run down and has predominantly HMOs. I encountered what looked to be open drug dealing on the main commercial street.
Dining
9/10
The kitchen had generous supplies of tea, coffee, and milk. Breakfast supplies were also readily available. This allowed guests to easily prepare their own meals.
Rooms
9/10
The room provided a dehumidifier. I had access to a TV. A fridge stocked with tea, coffee, and milk added to the convenience. The room was clean and tidy.
Location
8/10
The hotel is located well for the town centre. A good choice of cafes and takeaways are around the corner. This makes it easy to find dining options. Transport links into the centre are great.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel has a lovely garden . I found it easy to find a key in the locker. The hosts were helpful. The communal kitchen provided a convenient space.

Excellent Value with Great Amenities

helpful hostcoffee facilitiesguest kitchen
Simon was a helpful host. My room featured a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. I used the guest kitchen, stocked with eggs, bread, milk, and coffee. The pool table provided entertainment.
The shower design prioritized style, though its functionality felt somewhat lacking.
Location
8/10
A bus service operates nearby. It provided easy access to the city. This made getting around very convenient, though the immediate area has some run-down buildings.
Rooms
9/10
My spacious room included a comfortable bed. The room was very clean. Vintage statues decorate the house, though I had to remove my shoes to walk upstairs, which I did not like.
Service
10/10
The host was friendly and accommodating! He offered information upon my arrival. I felt welcome and the service added much value to my stay, though the area was a bit rough.

the room was very clean and fresh. i enjoyed the vintage statues around the house. it felt peaceful because i could not hear any noise from neighbours.
the shower seemed more about style than providing a good wash. it was too dark to shave properly. i also found it odd that i had to remove my shoes to use the stairs.

The host was helpful enough I suppose.
The room was too cold I had to ask for extra blankets It was also quite dark making it hard to see properly The shower looked nice but the water pressure was poor it really was style over substance.
